What's This?

Journal Entry: Fri May 9, 2008, 10:07 PM
Yes, I'm taking last-minute commissions for tribal badges for Rocket City FurMeet to be delivered AT THE CON.

There is also a good chance I'll be spending part of my con in the Artist's Alley taking commissions. If so, it will be a limited quantity since I'll be fairly busy during most of the con.

But anyways... There are currently 5 commission slots open for badges, and prices are listed below.

Tribal Badges can be full-body or head-only. For the black tribals, I will only use black ink in composing them. For the color ones, I will try to match your fursona's color scheme the best I can without compromising the integrity of the tribal design. You are responsible for lamination and badge clips.

Digital badge customers will also receive an icon with background for FREE included with their order. All digital badges also come with a background of your choice (solid color, gradient, or stripes). Customers will receive updates as I complete sketches and inking.

Examples of my tribal work can be found on FurAffinity or DeviantArt.

Prices are as follows:
Digital Black Tribal badges -- $20 (3.5"x5")/$25 (4"x6")
Digital Color Tribal badges -- $25(3.5"x5")/$30 (4"x6")

Payment is by Paypal (SamiiTiger AT GMail dot com) and must be made before work can begin. (It's a pain to do split payments on Paypal, so it's easier to ask for the amount before I begin work.)

Thanks for reading, and happy commissioning!

Tribal Icon and Con Badge Commissions are OPEN!

Journal Entry: Sun Jun 24, 2007, 11:01 AM
Here's the deal... I need money for such things as food, gas to get to my primary job, car insurance, and other related incidentals. I do artwork for relatively cheap. I prefer to work for any money I receive rather than ask/beg for it. I consider it the honest thing to do, but that's beside the point. The point is that I've got commissions open for tribal icons for LiveJournal and forums and tribal badges. I'm willing to take 10 commissions right now, and rotate in first come, first served style as I get them completed.

Tribal Icons can be a fursona, a general animal, or an object. In the case of the fursona or animal, only the head will be used for the icon.

Tribal Badges can be full-body or head-only. For the black tribals, I will only use black ink in composing them. For the color ones, I will try to match your fursona's color scheme the best I can without compromising the integrity of the tribal design. All badges will be laminated and sent with a badge clip.

All customers will receive updates as I complete sketches and inking. For traditional badges, customers will receive an update to the final product before their badges are mailed out. If you are in the Chicagoland area, your badge will be delivered to you in person.

Examples of my tribal work can be found here on DeviantArt.

Prices are as follows:
Tribal Icons -- $3 (No Background) / $5 (Background [Gradient, Solid color, or striped])
Traditional Black Tribals -- $10 (3.5"x5") /$15 (4"x6")
Traditional Color Tribals -- $15 (3.5"x5")/$20 (4"x6")
Digital Black Tribal badges -- $20 (3.5"x5")/$25 (4"x6")
Digital Color Tribal badges -- $25(3.5"x5")/$30 (4"x6")

Payment is by Paypal (samiitiger@gmail.com) or in person if you live local to me and must be made before work can begin. (It's a pain to do split payments on Paypal, so it's easier to ask for the amount before I begin work.)

I also ask that people keep in mind that this is to supplement my normal job. I do work 40+ hours a week, but will try to do my commissions in a timely manner. If something comes up where I'm not able to finish the commission within a reasonable time, I will let the commissioner know and speak with him or her on a one-by-one basis.

Thanks for reading, and happy commissioning!

Tribal Con Badges

Journal Entry: Tue May 15, 2007, 7:37 AM
With it entering into the congoing season, I know many people do not have badges. Or, if they do, they're the standard "draw my fursona in a certain pose variety". What's my solution to this? I'm offering commissions for Tribal Badges to be delivered at RCFM next weekend OR LAFF SoftBowl this weekend. Perfect for Rocket City FurMeet or Anthrocon in June, or even for local events, these badges are made in the standard 3"x4" format that many of you are familiar with, done traditionally with Sharpie Markers. I recently purchased the 8-count set, so I can do more than just black-pattern tribals. I can actually make a tribal design that replicates your fursona.

Examples of my work can be found at my website, Dangerous Eyes, under the "Tribal Badges" listing.

The cost for a tribal badge is $15.00, and I have 7 slots available at this time with more possibly opening up as I finish.

Have I caught your interest? Please leave a comment here or e-mail me at SamiiTiger at Gmail dot com for more information or to secure a spot on the list.

Thanks!
Samii

Lack of Art?

Journal Entry: Fri Apr 27, 2007, 9:48 AM
Actually, because of the fact most of my artwork is being used at work, I really can't post it here... However, I'll post some of the backgrounds I designed for the LP Boards sometime soon.

Update?

Journal Entry: Wed Mar 28, 2007, 11:20 PM
So, I'm now working full time as a security guard at OfficeMax. Boring, you think, eh?

Not so!

Just recently, I finished up a rather large graphic design project for my location that is currently being looked at by the Vice President of Loss Prevention. I've also done some other graphics that are being used at the Philly location.

So, yes, I'm security, graphic design, and so much more.

And yet I still have time to serve as staff for Rocket City FurMeet ([link]) for my second year.
